2025 Was something else
In September 2025, Flow in the Forest made history as the UK's first dedicated fire and flow arts festival. Over 350 spinners, hoopers, jugglers, and circus enthusiasts gathered at Horseheath Racecourse in Cambridgeshire for four days of workshops, performances, and connection, all framed around the autumn equinox. With four simultaneous workshop streams, world-class teachers like Staff Doctor, Mika Hell, and Red Sarah, and a music stage headlined by The Gulls, New Age Collective, and Bag of Cans, the inaugural event brought together everything the community had been waiting for.
The festival was built around our four elements framework (Earth, Air, Fire, and Water) creating distinct spaces for ground-based skills, aerial arts, fire jams and the spectacular Saturday night Fire Gala, plus hot tubs, saunas, and a wellbeing zone for restoration. From the 24-hour juggling tent to the Renegade Stage, from prop-making workshops to stories around the fire pit, FITF 2025 proved that a festival designed by our community, for our community, was exactly what the UK scene needed.
Onwards to 2026
The spark has been lit and now we're ready to grow. Flow in the Forest returns for its second year from Thursday 17th to Monday 21st September 2026, once again celebrating the autumn equinox. We're coming back bigger: an expanded fire space, a dedicated aerial zone, a full wellbeing track, and New Age Collective returning with new material and an even more immersive setup.
