Dylan Jackson is a UK-based performer with a deep love for all kinds of sticks, strings and spinning props.
His flow journey began around five years ago with leviwand, which quickly opened the door to contact staff, double staff, contact sword and dragon staff. Since then, Dylan has travelled with his craft, most recently performing and teaching at Paradise Circus in Thailand and joining Nepal Flowfest as a dragon staff instructor.
Dylan brings a playful, technical and exploratory approach to teaching, helping people build confidence with their props while finding new ways to move, transition and flow.
In this workshop, Dylan will teach the fundamentals of neck anchors for long string leviwand, including transitions between different styles of play, and anchor specific tricks to expand the possibilities of your flow.
WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION

Designed to be accessible to all levels, this session will introduce the fundamentals of neck anchors and how they can be used to move between different styles of play. Safety, sobriety and fire
Flow in the Forest is safety-led and community-focused. There is no bar on site, and anyone taking part in fire activities must be sober, inducted and following the fire safety rules. Alcohol in moderation is allowed, but intoxication that creates risk, disrupts others or affects fire safety will not be accepted.

Saturday Psytrance, Jungle and Drum & Bass
On Saturday, expect psychedelic sounds, jungle and drum and bass carrying the fire into the night, with space for both movement and community around the edges.
Sunday Psydub Flowdown
Sunday night will bring things into a softer, deeper landing with chilled, flowy psydub vibes in the Fire Space. Expect warm bass, spacious grooves and slower, more hypnotic sounds for people who want to move, stretch, spin, unwind or simply settle into the final night together. A gentler close to the weekend, with room to flow, breathe and soak it all in.
