SAI
SAI is a fire artist, performer, circus instructor, choreographer and producer with years of experience creating fire shows, community fire spaces and large-scale outdoor spectacles.
He is the founder of Bring the Fire Project in Liverpool and the creator of Liverpool Fire Arts Festival, bringing together fire artists, flow practitioners and performers through workshops, shows, jams and community-led events. His work explores the meeting point between object manipulation, movement, theatre, music and visual spectacle, with a strong focus on storytelling, safety and shared experience.
For Flow in the Forest, SAI will be returning to Flow in the Forest but this year they will be directing and curating this year’s Fire Gala Show, helping shape one of the main performance moments of the weekend. He will also be working alongside The Cosmic Circus who are managing the fire space for 2026.
SAI brings a rare mix of creative vision, technical fire knowledge and real community experience. His presence at Flow in the Forest helps us create a fire programme that is exciting, beautiful and ambitious, while staying grounded in safe practice and respect for the art form.
THE FIRE SPACE
Safety, sobriety and fire
Flow in the Forest is safety-led and community-focused. There is no bar on site, and anyone taking part in fire activities must be sober, inducted and following the fire safety rules. Alcohol in moderation is allowed, but intoxication that creates risk, disrupts others or affects fire safety will not be accepted.

We've listened to your feedback and are happy to confirm that the Fire Space will be bigger, with more room to flow and with seating areas and a stronger social space for people to gather, watch, rest and connect.
Friday Metal Night is back

Saturday Psytrance, Jungle and Drum & Bass
On Saturday, expect psychedelic sounds, jungle and drum and bass carrying the fire into the night, with space for both movement and community around the edges.
Sunday Psydub Flowdown
Sunday night will bring things into a softer, deeper landing with chilled, flowy psydub vibes in the Fire Space. Expect warm bass, spacious grooves and slower, more hypnotic sounds for people who want to move, stretch, spin, unwind or simply settle into the final night together. A gentler close to the weekend, with room to flow, breathe and soak it all in.
